Burlesque is usually made up of a number of solo artists, so by being in the audience of a show you’re directly supporting local art, artists and the theatres that house them.

A chance to feel glamorous yourself
Audiences often use Burlesque events as a chance to dress up - either to match the theme of the show, or in classic vintage glamour so often associated with the artform - it’s certainly not a requirement to attend, but for those who like an excuse to dress up, you couldn't ask for a better one.
