Meet the team

With a background in acting and science communication Oola is now a passionate devotee of the art and science of bump n grind.
A member of Cardiff Cabaret Club since 2017 she is a burlesque fanatic, and advocate for the art in all its forms. Oola performs regularly as a soloist in Cardiff and across the UK, with her signature style of glam and geek!
As well as being a joyfully
peri-menopausal stripper she is a proud Mama Bear to three glorious humans, an environmentalist, micro farmer, artist and silversmith who loves Strictly, complicated board games, and cake.
Oola can't wait to welcome everyone to Wales Burlesque Festival 2024 and is tickled cerise to be part of it's creation.

STAGE MANAGER & MARKETING
Flossie trained in Performance Art at Aberystwyth University before moving to Cardiff in 2011 where she is now the Marketing Campaigs Manager for National Dance Company Wales.
Flossie joined Cardiff Cabaret Club in 2014 - where she made many lifelong friends and quickly found her niche in stage management. She loves ensuring a show runs smoothly, especially if she can di it in a silly costume.
Flossie loves connecting people to live arts experiences that can make them smile - be it through glamour and grace or pure stupidity and is excited to share the power of Burlesque with new audiences across the City, as well as introducing the incredible artists to weird, wild and wonderful Wales.
